Star Guitar offers in-person and online private professional guitar instruction by experienced music teachers, performing professionals and talented guitar players. Star Guitar is dedicated to teaching all students of the guitar no matter where they are located. In-person lessons are limited to the surrounding Birmingham, Bloomfield and Berkley areas of Michigan. All lessons are tailored to achieve your goals and aspirations. It’s a great time to learn to play guitar.

Learn how to play guitar like a professional by learning to play with the proper fingers, frets, and learn solid picking techniques. We teach all of the fundamentals: Easy learning methods, Fretboard Theory, The CAGED Chording System through the Major Diatonic and Minor Modes.

Our creative techniques are designed to teach basic foundations in traditional guitar, and if desired, voice study too. Our teaching methods will give both you and/or your child an inspirational newfound appreciation for making your own music, while learning to play guitar and/or singing with the passion that everyone loves and enjoys.

Guitar Lessons are available privately in Ralph’s home guitar studio in Bloomfield Hills as well on online. Lessons may also be available in your own home. Individual lessons are available anytime as well as weekly/monthly discounted lesson packages. Also, discounted are lessons sold in sessions of 12x lessons for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced students.

Ralph has many students, some are beginners and some are intermediate, ranging from 10-18 years of age. There are also a few younger students aged 6-9 as well as adults, men and women alike! They all want to learn to play guitar and improve their music and guitar skills.

Playing guitar is a lot of fun, but it takes time and practice. I teach using techniques that use popular songs and Fretboard Theory with fun exercises to develop skills and performance.
