About Dan Valeen

Dan Valeen has a lifelong love of the guitar.  He has been teaching guitar since the mid 80’s in various studios across SE Michigan.  His musical experience is wide-ranging, and he teaches all popular styles, including classic rock, blues, acoustic, jazz and every style in between.  He enjoys sharing the guitar with both adults and kids.  He also teaches Ukulele and Harmonica. Dan can get you started or improve your skills.

No matter what the reason for wanting to take music lessons – whether learning to read music, play folk and rock songs, bang out some blues or learn jazz improvisation and Fretboard Theory, Dan’s comfortable teaching many styles and makes everything about music more enjoyable.
