About Ralph Volk

Ralph began a lifelong love of music at the age of 11, learning to play Classical Guitar and moving to rock & jazz during his teen years. Growing up during the great era of music in the 60s & 70s, he played electric and acoustic guitar and performed in local bands and later played private events. Ralph’s arrangements in solo jazz guitar began after years of developing his own style of music and his song originals. Following his teaching career and professional work in marketing & advertising, during which he continued his guitar playing, he formed Star Guitar to share the wonders of guitar to others. He has taught many students of all ages guitar privately.
